About the Project

The new Mosque was opened at Al Zaheb village in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi in June 2016, under the auspices of General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office, in the presence of citizens at Al Zaheb and the neighbouring villages. The mosque built-up area amounted to 500 square metres and is situated on a plot of 1,260 square metres.

Interior products used and why

Berger PVA Primer, Berger Stucco Putty, Royale Matt Interior Emulsion.

Sultan Qaboos Mosque is a government project; interior products were chosen to reflect that through high performance features, good looks and Low VOC.

Exterior products used and why

Weathercoat Flex Primer, Berger External Filler, and Weathercoat Flex Tex Medium.

These products were chosen for their long lasting performance, anti-carbonation properties and exceptional crack bridging abilities. Flex Tex is a textured coating with exceptional elastomeric properties.

Challenges

The client, Diwan of Royal Court, Oman, wanted a long lasting rugged system for exteriors which was met by the Weathercoat Flex Tex Medium finish from Berger Paints

The Result

We were successful in helping our clients achieve the look and finish they had conceived, in a cost effective and timely manner.
